CCPA Notice
This notice adds to our Privacy Policy. It's for residents of California and other US states with privacy laws, including those covered by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). It explains what Shagufta Styles collects, what we do with it, and how to use your rights.
What We've Collected in the Last 12 Months
- Identifiers: name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, IP address. Collected.
- Commercial information: items purchased, order history, order totals. Collected.
- Internet activity: pages visited, time on site, how you found us. Collected.
- Approximate location: city or region based on IP address. Collected.
- Payment information: card details, handled by Shopify's secure checkout. We don't store full card numbers. Collected, but not stored by us.
- Sensitive personal information: Social Security number, precise location, biometric data, health data. Not collected.
- Protected characteristics: race, religion, sexual orientation, health status. Not collected.
Why We Collect It
To process and deliver orders, support our customers, run and improve the website, prevent fraud, and follow the law.
Where It Comes From
Mostly from you, when you place an order, create an account, join our list or contact us. The rest is collected automatically by Shopify and Google Analytics when you browse.
We Don't Sell or Share Your Data
In the past 12 months, Shagufta Styles has not sold your personal information and has not shared it for cross-context advertising. We don't have a plan to start. We also don't knowingly sell or share the information of anyone under 16.
Who Gets Your Information
Only service providers who help run our store:
- Shopify: store platform, orders and checkout
- Google Analytics: website traffic reports
- Shipping carriers: delivery
- Payment providers: processing payments
They're only allowed to use your information to provide their service to us.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we've collected, where it came from, why we use it and who we share it with
- Access a copy of your information
- Delete your information, with limited exceptions (for example, records we must keep for tax or legal reasons)
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your data (we don't do either)
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we don't collect it)
- Not be treated unfairly for using any of these rights. We won't charge you different prices or give you worse service
How to Make a Request
Email info@shaguftastyles.shop or call +1 646-821-5430. Please include:
- Your full name
- The email address you used to order
- What you're asking for
We'll need to confirm it's really you before acting on a request. We may ask you to confirm an order number, shipping address or other detail we already have on file. We only use that information to verify you.
How Long We Take
We reply within 45 days. If we need more time, we'll tell you why and may take up to 45 more days.
If We Say No
If we turn down a request, we'll explain why. If you live in a state that allows appeals, you can reply with "Appeal" in the subject line and we'll review the decision and respond within 60 days.
Using Someone Else to Ask for You
An authorized agent can make a request for you. We may ask for written permission from you and may still confirm your identity directly.
Browser Opt-Out Signals
Since we don't sell or share personal information, there's nothing to opt out of. If your browser sends an opt-out signal such as Global Privacy Control, we'll treat it as a valid opt-out request where the law requires.

If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top.
